With over 35 years of experience, American Audio &Video (a division of American Music & Sound LLC) is a global importer/distributor of consumer electronic products and OEM /ODM loudspeaker manufacturer, with reach into some of Europe’s and the America’s largest national CE chains and smaller owner-operated businesses alike. Operating as a division of American Music & Sound LLC, whose primary business centers on the Professional Audio and Musical Instruments arena, AA&V’s new foray into the US market is not without an existing experienced distribution background.

The business approach at AA&V is different from what is typical with other distributors. Firstly, as an importer/distributor the brands under the AA&V umbrella are carefully selected and relationships are on an exclusive basis. As such, the line card breadth is considerably more specialized in scope, but distribution of these brands is also more tightly controlled.

Secondly, to develop the dealer network AA&V relies less on regional or multiple points of brick-and-mortar distribution centers, and more on forging strong associations with independent representatives and representative firms who have the immediate pulse of their local business environment. This makes for more personalized attention to the needs and circumstances of AA&V dealers, where services will be tailored to individual situations. Additionally, having an established and often long-standing relationship with a dealer, the sales professional will present AA&V’s line-up of products and services as an opportunity to generate additional profit by simply extending the existing business partnership.

Operation and fulfillment is then handled through a modern distribution center in Plattsburgh, NY which comprises sales, marketing, technical support, design and engineering activities with an additional sales and service office in Agoura Hills, California.
Our current brand line up is characterized by high fashion iPod and multimedia accessories from Boynq of the Netherlands, specialty audio tube amplifiers incorporating iPod docking station from British brands Fatman and Roth Audio and audiophile A/V systems from Arcam.
