As the momentum builds and builds from the success of Fatman’s current models, the future and glow of tubes look brighter than ever with the release of Fatman’s newest product the Fatman Mothership due for release in early December. With the release of the Mothership, Fatman puts their first footprint in the higher end of the pricing spectrum. Embarking on this journey in 2006, Fatman had a vision to delve into the consumer market with innovative product not yet seen around the globe. Applying much experience from the professional side of their business, Fatman was able to produce extremely high quality products with real-world prices.

The Mothership amplification system comprises of the iTube Control Room preamp, plus a pair of iTube Engine Room 200 watt mono-blocks. The complete package for one Control Room and two Engine Rooms will retail for $15,000.00US. The Mothership’s Control Room is a single ended Class A Tube Preamp that does exactly what its name implies. Being the heart of the system this integral part boosts the source signals to a level in which matches the Engine Room’s two units perfectly and is equipped with six premium-quality tube. The unit is not only technically sound, but the styling is aesthetically pleasing. With four gold plated casings that match its cosmetics with the stunning acoustics. Coming with three inputs and one dedicated phono input, connecting all your sources and playing your vintage vinyl will be all done with ease.

Both Engine Rooms are 200 watt mono-block power amplifiers, meaning the Mothership can successfully drive your most demanding speakers and take any musical collection to a new level. The two Engine Rooms use a combined total of eighteen premiere quality vacuum tubes in order to deliver its pure and rich output. Weighing in at over 100lbs. each, just be careful when you pick them up…heavy lifting is required!!
Completing the package, Fatman has included its signature iPod dock and fully functional remote in order for you to enjoy and control all your downloaded tunes.
