American Audio & Video Announces First Fully Compliant iPod Docking Station.

American Audio & Video, US distributor for Roth Audio consumer products is extremely proud to present one of the first fully compliant iPod docks that are capable of streaming video from the newly released iPod Touch, iPod Nano and iPod Classic. Roth Audio’s newest creation, the “ALFiE” will be released in December 2007.

This was done to limit the rampant fabrication of generic docks in the market place that were not properly certified. Roth Audio worked closely with APPLE to ensure all bases were covered prior to the release of ALFIE. This unit will be the first on the market to accommodate streaming your iPod Touch, iPod Nano, iPhone.”

Welcome the “ALFiE” the newest product from Roth Audio which now embraces the video world.

The ALFiE features a DVD/CD slot that has DVD, DVD-R, DVD+R, CD, CD-R, CD-RW, and MP3 playback. An iPod dock is featured in the rear of the unit and can be closed when not in use. The ALFiE also features an AM/FM radio with digital tuning as well a dual alarm in which can be switched between waking up to the radio or tunes from the iPod. Touch sensitive controls are found on the top of the unit which can manipulate basic functioning while the slim-design; fully functional remote control takes care of the intricate features available on the ALFiE.

The Roth Audio “ALFiE” features a high-quality audio setup with a 2.1 amplifier and speaker combination. The ALFiE 2.1 speaker setup provides two front firing speakers and a down-firing subwoofer that is mounted underneath in the belly of the unit. Powering a total combined power of 40 watts the “ALFiE” will surely provide ample sound throughout the room. A rear port is found on the back of the unit to enhance the bass response and give a rich, beautiful sound throughout the room.

The ALFiE is meant to be a stand alone unit, whether it is in the office or bedroom or wherever your heart desires. The “ALFiE” can relay your iPod videos and DVD’s to your desired TV and at the same time provides unmatched clarity throughout your listening experience. The ALFiE can accommodate any TV with composite, S-Video, and Component outputs to send the image to your TV. You can also swiftly hook up a pair of headphones to the mini-jack, found at the rear of the unit, for a more intimate experience.
